| This course is designed to meet the OSHA/EPA requirement that first due responders MUST be at the Operations Level to assume command. The primary focus of this class is to teach firefighters how to secure the accident site, recognize and identify the materials involved, and to make the appropriate notifications. Some basic defensive tactics are also taught. This class also meets the yearly refresher update. | |||
