| Other than the
rescue of people, there is nothing more critical than putting water on the
fire. The first 10 minutes of every fire (or even non-fire event) will set the tone and direction for the remainder of the incident. What follows these first 10 minutes will translate to either a positive incident scene or a negative incident scene. More lives are saved by the proper placement and operation of the first handline than by all other means. The engine company is the unsung hero of the fireground. This class will make sure your department personnel are up to the task of performing the most basic of all fireground activities. This class can be coupled with the water supply class
to really put the spotlight on engine company operations. |
