| It can't happen
in your backyard? Think again. The United States faces terror threats
everyday. Most of those are domestic in nature--U.S. citizens trying to
advance their causes with forceful intimidation. Your department's response
to these types of incidents need to be evaluated and your people need to be
trained to identify not only the incident type, but what to look for when
responding to a possible threat. This program is an outreach of the IRTB class that the Department of Homeland Security puts on in Socorro, New Mexico. Participants are given 32 hours of classroom and hands-on instruction and we bring that to you in a 4-hour class of solid information. You will be surprised how much of this class relates to even the smallest department: Your jurisdiction may not be the next target of Osama Bin Laden, but it may be the target of the next Eric Rudolph. |
